Just finished week 2 assignment, not too bad.  Thought the feedback from administrators in the video's was interesting.  Still trying to narrow down my research project, did have a chance to meet briefly with my administrator and got some constructive advice.   Will post my ideas on the discussion board hoping for some feedback, I really think I know what I want to do especially after doing the reading in Dana.

    Action Research Template:
    Goal: To determine the effectiveness of the mentor program known as “Our Finest Hour.” As measured through the following criteria: attendance, tardies, grades, referrals, other discipline actions, matriculation.
    Action Steps(s): Person(s) Responsible: Timeline: Start/End Needed Resources Evaluation
    Gather a sample of students who have been in the mentor program for more than one year.

    Compass Program data, attendance reports, discipline reports. Establish baseline, with which to compare all new data on each student.






    Analyze Data, making comparisons with original data and more recent data to determine if any quantitative change can be measured and attributed to involvement in mentor program.
    Compile set of questions to use in interviews. Conduct Interviews with students about their experience at Churchill.
